Job description

The role will include welcoming patients into the practice, answering telephones, arranging appointments, taking payments, letter writing as well as other duties to help with the smooth running of the practice whilst maintaining an exceptional experience for our clients. The lucky candidate would be joining a friendly, supporting, hard working team of experienced and highly skilled clinicians, nurses, receptionists and management.

Job description

  • Welcoming the patient into the surgery
  • Helping with infection control by sterilising and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
  • Supporting the clinician throughout the appointment
  • Providing exceptional patient care
  • Recording treatment information in patient records
  • Collecting and recording medical and dental histories
  • Caring for dental equipment.
  • Be able to/willing to carry out Intra Oral scans, dental photography

Endodontist

Are you an experienced endodontist with a proven track record in endodontic procedures looking to be part of a highly professional team delivering expert treatment to our clients and an exceptional patient journey?

This role provides a great opportunity for an Endodontist seeking a flexible, part-time position, offering one day per week with a 50% split.

The practice is fully digital, with SOE integration and benefits from state-of-the-art equipment including CBCT and Trios scanner. You will have dedicated support from your nurse and a treatment coordinator so that you can provide the best treatment possible.

The practice is known for its high level patient care, making it an ideal setting for professional growth.

About the Position:

  • Fully private practice
  • 4 chair practice close to the town centre
  • 50% private split
  • 1 day per week
  • Cases available for immediate allocation
  • Permanent position
  • Longstanding, friendly and welcoming team
  • Suitable for a specialist endodontist or a dentist with a special interest on the GDC register of specialists
  • Building a new list from in-house referrals and emergency patients

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of endodontic procedures, including root canal treatments, re-treatments, and surgical endodontics
  • Diagnose and treat complex endodontic cases.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in endodontic techniques and technology.

Desired attributes:

  • Proven track record in endodontic procedures, including re-root canal treatments
  • Patient-Centred approach
  • Able to demonstrates excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
  • Dedication to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence
  • Successful candidates will either be a GDC specialist registered Endodontist, or a GDC-registered dentist with a special interest in Endodontics
